Our Original Greenhouse along with two other structures were no match for the December record snow fall.
Dome not the only thing to collapse under the weight of the snow!
There might not have been a video camera capturing the collapse over at Tamblyn's Nursery, but the aftermath looks the same. On December 12th, two of the greenhouses at Tamblyn's Nursery collapsed under the extreme weight of the 17 plus inches of snow we received during the biggest snow storm since the '91 Halloween Blizzard.
The weight of the snow that crushed the greenhouses, bent one and three-quarter inch steel pipe as if it were a twig. The Tamblyn's are moving through this disaster and are preparing to open at the end of April as they have done the past 19 years.
